Costa Del Cockerham ☀️
Check out this weather, I’m doing a Baby Jesus this weekend, left home on Friday and won’t be back until Monday. This blog is written from right outside the brewery whilst drinking a pint of Sheaf, our 4.1% Pale Ale.
A super busy week with lots of variation, along side cramming in 4 brews this week we installed our pump into our water well, a depth of 60 meters (32.808 Fathoms). In the next few weeks our water will be completely off the grid, we are constantly looking at ways to reduce our environmental impact.
We have found time for a spot of farming too.......
This small field has been cleared so can offer camping in tents, caravans, camper vans, winnebagos and igloos, tents and igloos are £5 per night, caravans and camper vans £10 per night. This includes use of our MOD container toilet and shower block, it’s been to Basra, Iraq and now Cockerham.
This morning I have been levelling 40 tonne of 40mm stone to extend our car park, even had time to practice my JCB Dancing Diggers routine.
Earlier this week we created Peat. This is a Dark Mild which we brew once a year for the “mild month of May”. It has a complex malt bill, consisting of 10 different malts. We had some help making this beer from Steve and the guys from the Swan With Two Neck at Pendleton, it’s a full bodied beer and is a limited edition peach.
The Brewery Tap will be open every Thursday as of May. In addition we will have live folk music from The Long Nights. The first Thursday of every single month.
Have a top week and enjoy this weather, remember to drink plenty of beer to keep yourself hydrated. If your unable to make it to the Brewery Tap you can get you beer fix here https://www.farmyardales.co.uk/shop we try for next day delivery too.
Cheers Steve 🍻
